NOW ENROLLING PRE-K3 TO 6TH GRADE
DID YOU KNOW?

  • To succeed in school and life, children and young adults need ongoing opportunities to learn and practice essential skills. This is especially true during the summer months.

  • Many Americans have a wonderful image of summer as a carefree, happy time when "kids can be kids,” and take for granted the prospect of enriching experiences such as summer camps, time with family, and trips to museums, parks, and libraries.

  •  When the school doors close, many children struggle to access educational opportunities, as well as basic needs such as healthy meals and adequate adult supervision.

  • All young people experience learning losses when they do not engage in educational activities during the summer. Research shows that students typically score lower on standardized tests at the end of summer vacation than they do on the same tests at the beginning of the summer.

  • Most students lose about two months of grade level equivalency in mathematical computation skills over the summer months. Students also lose more than two months in reading achievement.

  • Children lose more than academic knowledge over the summer. Most children—particularly children at high risk of obesity—gain weight more rapidly when they are out of school during summer break

  • Parents consistently cite summer as the most difficult time to ensure that their children have productive things to do.

At Transformations Academy we believe that learning should take place all year long. We offer a full educational curriculum along with summer fun! We expose our students daily to music, learning center activities, circle time, reading, playing, and daily interactions in foreign languages. Our curriculum stimulates learning and curiosity in children. We foster a learning environment where the students can achieve and excel academically, socially, physically, and emotionally, through structured quality teaching, mentoring, and support by our faculty and staff. The students are encouraged to develop good moral character, morals, habits, and individual talents. If your a parent that believes your child needs a head start for the next grade for the 2014-2015 school year this is the place for you. We offer a learning environment that recaps the previous school year while introducing what they will learn the upcoming year. We also recognize that it is the summer months so we incorporate summer fun, along with field trips on our private charter bus to assist with summer camp field trip cost to ensure your child can take place in all the summer fun without worry about cost!

Our summer camp program will incorporate weekly themes throughout the summer. We will also be providing learning enhancement for children who need extra helps in school academics. All summer campers will have a learning time from 9:30 am -3:30pm, Monday-Thursday. Friday will be game day for older summer campers. It is a time for them to bring in board games that they like or special craft activities. They will also have a special visitors coming in the last Friday of every month.
